What does the Cartesian Coordinate System have to do with products creation and Second Life®?
Second Life manuals do not mention the Cartesian Coordinate System, but the concept for modeling and creation is present in the land, scripting language parameters, and the creation and movement of primitives. The X, Y, and Z coordinates are used with numerical values. East and west follow X coordinates, north and south have Y coordinate values, and vertical directions (up and down) use Z values. Primitives can be created and precisely located using the coordinate values relative to the size of the objects. The system is used for placing primitives on the land and connecting them to other primitives. Scripting uses coordinates and vectors to create behaviors.
