Pursuant to C.R.S. 12-43-303 (1), the “practice of psychology” is defined as the observation, description, evaluation, interpretation, treatment, or modification of behavior, cognitions, or emotions by the application of psychological, behavioral, and physical principles, methods, or procedures, for the purpose of preventing or eliminating symptomatic, maladaptive, or undesired behavior, cognitions, or emotions and of enhancing interpersonal relationships, work and life adjustment, personal effectiveness, behavioral health, and mental health.
