What does the black horse represent and the pair of scales and their importance?
The black horse is pestilence and disease. The balances indicate judgment and scarcity and the costs of the first two horsemen. The measurement is given according to how they measure. The oil and the wine represent the elect in the Holy Spirit that are scattered among the nations. They can be killed as witness but the core integrity and survival of the church is to be protected and the earth itself cannot be harmed until the 144,000 have been sealed and the great multitude is ready to complete.
