Well, in the Bible it doesn’t necesarily talk about “dating” at all. Back then people just did not really date. The bible does make sure to keep away from sexual fornication before marriage and things along those lines and it does state that you should not commit adultery. However the bible does say some things about Christian marriage that could be pressed onto dating at well. 2 Corinthians 6:14: “Do not be unevenly yoked with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and lawlessness have in common? What fellowship has light with darkness?” So this could be interpreted as saying “Do not date/marry someone who does not share your faith” if taken into a modern context. So, in all, the rules Christians should apparently follow when dating are: 1. No fornication (sexual activities) before marriage, 2. No adultery (cheating) inside a relationship, and 3.
