What does the Ansonia Housing Authority (AHA) do?
The AHA is an agency that has as its mission to assure decent, safe, clean and affordable housing to all residents of the community. The AHA owns and manages approximately 313 units of public & state elderly housing, including family developments and elderly properties throughout the city. We also administer approximately 650 Section 8 Rent subsidy vouchers for income qualified tenants, which keeps their rent at or below 30% of their income.
