What does the amount of the financial aid listed on the award letter cover?
Financial aid awards are based on budgets that are determined by residency, major, choice of living on campus, off campus or with parents. Budgets may include: tuition, activity and loan fees, room, board, books, personal expense, and transportation. Therefore, your costs and your financial aid award are not the same. Financial aid awards are often more as they include costs that are not listed on the bill as a charge.
