What does the AMCAS application consist of?
The AMCAS application consists of a biographical sheet asking for information about yourself, your family, your education thus far, and your academic honors, extracurricular activities, work experience, research and volunteer experiences. It also asks that you provide a one page personal statement, which should outline your motivation for a career in medicine and other pertinent information regarding your life. Lastly, the application asks that you provide transcript information for any US or Canadian college you’ve ever attended.
