What does the ADB-Japan scholarship cover?
The ADB-Japan Scholarship provides for the scholar’s: • Tuition fee at the University of Auckland. • Airfare from his or her home country to Auckland, New Zealand. • Basic cost of living in Auckland. • Health and medical insurance in New Zealand. • Airfare from Auckland, New Zealand, to the scholar’s home country at the conclusion of his or her course of study. Note: The ADB – Japan Postgraduate Scholarship does not cover the scholar’s dependants. Who is eligible? Citizens, preferably with work experience and relevant tertiary qualifications from the following countries are eligible to apply (as at 10-Jan-2005): Pacific Islands Region: Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Timor Leste Asia Region: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China PR, Hong Kong China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Republic of Krygyz Rep Lao
