What does the acronym UMKC means in academic setting?
The official UMKC mark appears in the upper left hand corner of the university header on all official UMKC pages and cannot be altered. The mark is in the official UMKC Web colors with the letters “U,” “M,” “K” and “C” in RGB (R 0, G 102 and B 204) and Hexadecimal #0066cc. The flame of knowledge on top of the K is in RGB (R 255, G 204 and B 0) and Hexadecimal ##ffcc00. This is the official UMKC mark. It should not appear elsewhere on the same Web page. The mark has a safe area around it, defined as ½ the height of the letter “U” in the mark. No treatments, alterations, affects, visual enhancements, graphics or designs should be used on or near the mark. The mark is the link back to the UMKC home page. It should not link to any other Web site or pages, including an UMKC school or department homepage. The words University of Missouri-Kansas City appear below the mark. These words are in the official UMKC Web color RGB (R 0, G 102 and B 204) and Hexadecimal (#0066cc). Footer UMKC appears
