What does the abbreviation HVAC mean?
HVAC stands for “heating, ventilating, and air conditioning”. HVAC is widely known as climate control today. This system is employed in skyscrapers, office spaces and widely used in marine systems(aquariums) where the temperature and humidity has to be maintained at a constant level. HVAC systems work based on the principles of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Though HVAC refers to heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning, all the three serves the same purpose of thermal comfort and indoor air quality. The HVAC systems are very popular because of its easy installation, low maintenance and low operating costs.
