What does the 9050 warning mean?
This warning is based on the combination of SSID, school code (CDS) and enrollment date. It is produced when an update record has an enrollment date within the time span as an existing open enrollment for the student/school in the SRRTS databases. The net effect of records that produce these warnings is that the update record will be absorbed by the existing database record. The purpose of this warning is to prompt the user to assess if this is the desired outcome of the submission. Example: The SRRTS database has an open enrollment record for Student-Mary enrolled on 12/11/2005 in School-123. The LEA then sends an update record for Student-Mary with an enrollment date of 2/12/2006 in School-123. The 9050 warning will produced because the update record enrollment is within the existing enrollment.
