What does Super Bowl XLII have in store?
On Feb. 3, at 5:15 p.m. CST, the New England Patriots will take on the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII (42 for non-Romans). The Patriots are 18-0. With a win against the Giants, they will become the first perfect-record team in 35 seasons. Quarterback Tom Brady and receiver Randy Moss have broken individual records this season and helped the Patriots break the record for points scored in a regular season. The Giants got lucky. They were the wildcard qualifier and their win against Green Bay brings them face-to-face with the Patriots for a second time. The first saw the Giants brought low, 38-35. The pressure is on Eli Manning to maintain his exceptional postseason performance. Non-football entertainment awaits viewers, too. Jordin Sparks will open with the National Anthem and Ryan Seacrest will serve as the emcee for the evening. Paula Abdul is set to debut her first music video in over a decade and it is rumored that Soulja Boy will also be present. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
