What does Standards of Academic Progress Probation/Withdrawn mean?
In order to comply with federal regulations under Section 668.16 (e), Franklin University has established standards for measuring satisfactory academic progress for students receiving Title IV assistance. These standards contain both qualitative and quantitative components. Financial Aid Standards of Progress (SAP) are grouped into two categories: undergraduate and graduate. If you are on SAP probation you cannot appeal. If you are withdrawn, you may access the appeal information and form at www.franklin.edu/sap.

If you are not making satisfactory progress, you will be placed on probation. While on probation, you must show progression and successfully complete all of your classes; Otherwise, you will be withdrawn from federal financial aid.
