WHAT DOES SOUL PURPOSE COVER?
Engaging with God – What is a disciple of Jesus, How does spiritual formation happen, an introduction to various spiritual disciplines that help a person walk with Jesus. Engaging with God’s People – This is an introduction to the corporate disciplines and what it means to be the Body of Christ. These disciplines include such things as how to pray for others, encourage one-another, forgive one-another and love one-another. The module ends with helping each participant find their role in the church. Engaging with the Community – This module examines what it means for every follower of Jesus to be the ‘hands and feet’ of Jesus in the community in which they live. They will be equipped to visually and verbally share the good news of the Kingdom. The second half of the module involves studying eight major doctrines of the Faith.
