What does Soget ask of its freelance translators?
Professionalism and a sense of teamwork are essential. In practice, this means: – providing complete, carefully translated documents, on which all the required checks have been performed – carefully following the instructions given by the Project Manager. These instructions are the result of an in-depth analysis of the project and detailed discussions with the end client – respecting deadlines – informing the Project Manager of any linguistic, technical or logistical problems as soon as they occur. We expect our translators to be totally honest with their Project Managers, – cooperating with requests for clarification, disputes or complaints or other issues arising with the final client, thus helping us ensure total customer satisfaction. In addition to the professional skills needed to be a professional translator, we place great importance on a translator’s professional ethics and attitude.
