What does saving money have to do with merchant ships?
Proverbs 31 says that the ideal woman (among other things) is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. In practical terms, that means she will go to great lengths to meet her family’s needs, even if it means scouting that Asian market on the other side of town. Do you have to be frugal to be Christian? Not at all. Grace knows no budget. Saving money just happens to be my talent, and I work hard to make our dollars align with our values. I believe that God provides, even in the little things, especially when we honor Him with stewardship.
