What does sanofi-aventis U.S. fund through Educational Grants?
Sanofi-aventis U.S. funds high quality, external and independent educational activities [e.g., conform to the criteria and standards for commercial support of accrediting organizations, such as the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME); Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and the American Academy of Family Practitioners (AAFP)]. Our goal is to support education that will lead to improved patient care and help reduce healthcare gaps. The large majority of activities funded by Educational Grants offer Continuing Education (CE) credit. Sanofi-aventis U.S. also funds healthcare professionals in training (e.g. students and residents), academic fellowships involving post-graduate medical training, and advocacy educational initiatives. Eligible applicants may submit a grant request at www.sagrants.
