What Does Samaritan Women Offer?
Samaritan Women helps each woman meet her individual needs. We offer friendly faces, and we make them feel welcome, accepted and loved. Women often say they feel safe here and are overcome with the love they receive. Most of the women involved at Samaritan Women have their own housing, but they may need help in finding alternate housing that is adequate, safe, and drug/alcohol-free. They may need clothing for themselves and their children. They need reassurance. And they need training. We come alongside them to address the needs of food, clothing, personal hygiene, housing and education. Classes: Classes are held at the Samaritan Women Center and are open to any woman who is an ex-inmate. Addiction Education: 12-step recovery program that serves as a support group to help individuals who have suffered from alcoholism.
