regular standings will just typically give you the won/lost record, winning percentage and games behind information. expanded standings will provide this information as well as several other things that might include records against each division, records at home and on the road, records in day or night games, magic or elimination numbers etc etc. wild card standings will focus on teams contending for the wild card playoff spot so will not include division leaders and the team in the league with the best record that is not in first place in a division, will be listed as the team in first place for the wild card.
