What does Range do to prevent spills and leaks?
First of all, Range uses top-rated contractors and materials in drilling and producing our wells. Secondly, safety and environmental stewardship training equips our personnel to be diligent in our operations to remain safe and environmentally awareness. We have developed safety and environmental training programs to maintain and enhance our awareness of these issues. As part of those programs, we monitor our performance in each of these areas. Many of our production locations are subject to the Environmental Protection Agencys Spill Prevention Countermeasures and Control (SPCC) plans. Consequently, these production locations have the required dikes and posted emergency procedures and phone numbers in the event of a spill. All our locations are subject to the DEPs PPC plans from construction to production.
