WHAT DOES PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION MEAN?
Put simply, it means that the planning profession in Canada accepts the educational program offered as appropriate to the training of professional practitioners and is prepared to accept graduates immediately into provisional professional membership. After a required period of professional work experience and successfully writing one membership exam, graduates are accepted as full professional members. Graduation from a recognized planning school reduces the number of membership exams from two to one.
