What does preselect signup, preselect alternate signup and open signup mean?
Preselect is a request for an interview. A company will collect resumes and select people they would like to interview. They will then send the CRC a list of preselects who will be able to signup for an interview time. The people who are preselected will signup during the Preselect Signup dates listed in the job posting. Being a “Preselect Alternate” allows you to sign up during the “Alternate Signup time if the slots are not already filled by preselects. Open signup is a time in which all who meet the requirements for the job can signup for an interview time. After submitting your resume you will be taken to the signup times.
