What does posting error Attribute Set Id does not match category mean?
The full posting error from eBay is the following. eBay responded with the message: Short Message: Attribute Set Id does not match category. Long Message: Attribute Set Id “2426” does not match category you have entered. No VCS for primary category. This error is caused because we are submitting the wrong set of item specifics for this category. There are typically four situations that can result in this posting error. 1. This posting error is caused when eBay updates their item specifics within their categories, and we have not yet updated our system to reflect eBays changes. 2. The posting templates in your account are not automatically updated to the new item specifics. You can reset the posting template simply by opening and then clicking on the save and exit button to force the system to rest it. This will usually fix the posting template so the new items specifics are saved. You can then try reposting the items that received the posting error. 3. The category assigned to the post
