Polishing (or refining) is a critical step in ensuring Biodiesel means the ASTM standards. It primarily involves the removing of free glycerin to below 200 ppm, water to below 50 ppm and any soaps that are created during the production process.. As these are very trace levels of contaminants, a special process has to be included to acheive the highest purity value.
