What does podcast software do?
If you subscribe to any magazine, you’ll be aware that it drops through your letterbox regularly. “Podcast software” – or “podcatchers” – keep track of “subscriptions” you make to podcasts that interest you. Your podcasting program “keeps an eye out ” and notifies you each time a new episode comes out. You don’t have to visit the website to download the latest episode, your software has already downloaded it for you.
