What does “pat” mean in wow?
Pats in WoW… “pat” is short for Patrol… Its usually one significantly stronger character… or a group of slightly stronger characters… reason people call out “pat”…is to warn you that the patrol is coming, or that they are a little too close…to make sure that some one can take them out, and not mess up the run…or even wipe… (random lower level example) Dead Mines…When you take out the first boss(Rhahk’Zor), and his guards…and you wait a minute, 3 npc’s come from behind you…(that would be a pat..
