I love these dumbasses that place links and make you read a book…. lol The Partition is nothing more than a file that gets created by an operating system that splits up your hard drive according to your personal choice. The MBR (Master Boot Record) is also a file on the hard drive holds booting information that tells the computer what to do once it POSTS (Power On Self Tests) and how/where to boot from an OS.
