What does part-time and full-time student mean?
Full-time and part-time status is based on the number of credit hours a student registers for during a particular semester. For example: Full-Time status · Undergraduate—enrolled for at least 12 credit hours · Graduate—enrolled for at least 9 credit hours · Teaching Assistants—enrolled for at least 6 credit hours · If a student is enrolled in the Student Teaching course for 6 credit hours, and is working for 40 hours, that student is considered full-time Part-Time status · Undergraduate—enrolled in 6-11 credit hours · Graduate—enrolled in 6-8 hours If a student is enrolled for fewer than 6 hours, he or she is not eligible for scholarships or financial aid.
