I’m not sure what exactly you’re asking… but Paris’s ultimate objective (once the girls start crying “witch”) is to maintain his reputation, and to get some wealth from the condemned citizens. His daughter, Betty, (along with Thomas Putnam’s daughter Ruth) mainly accuses wealthy citizens. Coincidence? No… it’s because Paris and Putnam are greedy and want their property. The story never directly says that this is the case… but it strongly infers it. As for John Proctor… I don’t think that Paris or his daughter played a role in his condemnation. It was his niece, Abigail Williams, and she accused his wife Elizabeth because she was obsessed with John.
