What does paranormal mean and does it only refer to ghosts?
A. Paranormal means “beyond normal”. Paranormal phenomena can cover anything that exists outside the limits of the consensus trance through which humans perceive the world. The consensus trance is conditioning imposed on humans by society from birth, which allows us to perceive and act on only a small fraction of our potential experiences, and forces us to ignore the rest. Simply put, we often don’t see what we don’t believe is possible. Paranormal is not only used to describe ghost or spirit activity, other areas that are under the paranormal umbrella are UFO’s, Psychic and Medium abilities, Telekinesis, and much, much more.
