What does page positions or hits mean?
Page Positions/Hits means every time your website shows up in the top 20 positions of Yahoo “web pages”, Yahoo “sites”, Google, MSN, Alta Vista, Lycos, Excite, AOL, InfoSeek, HotBot, Iwon, All the Web, Overture (Formly GoTo), LookSmart, Netscape, Northerlight, Direct Hit, Webcrawler, About.com, All The Web, Bay9, Ah-ha, or Dmoz under your specific keyword phrase it counts as a hit. Our packages are based on a certain number of guaranteed positions for 60 days on the search engines mentioned above. Don’t worry just because your 60 days is up doesn’t mean your going to disappear from search engines. What happens is, your website will slowly begin to lose positions/hits but will never actually be dropped from the search engine. For instance a good listing on Yahoo can last a year.
