What does Pack 96 do all year long?
• Usually the last week in September • Cookout and campfire in the afternoon/evening • Short hikes and a great opportunity to learn about nature • Overnight family camping right here in Ellington • Organized by second year Webelos Blue and Gold Banquet • Beginning of March. • Award dinner for the pack. • All scouts should receive their rank badge at this event. • Second year Webelos cross over to Boy Scouts. • Good catered food. Bring your own soft drinks and a dessert to share with the pack. Camp Aya Po • First weekend in June. • Family camping at Camp Aya Po in Somers. • Done with 5 or 6 other packs from the local area. • Good food supplied and eaten in the camp mess hall. • Fishing and other scouting activities to do all day Saturday. Camp Tadma (Summer Camp) • 5 day/4 night sleepover camp. • Scout camping at Camp Tadma in Bozrah. • Camp is staffed with well trained enthusiastic counselors.
