What does overclock mean?
When you overclock a piece of electronic hardware, you are increasing it’s speed than what it is set to by adding more voltages, etc. Overclocking creates more heat, and can damage your hardware if something goes wrong. For your question, if the two processors are the same, but one is overclocked AND costs more, I’d go for the stock clock one. You can overclock the processor/CPU yourself, thus, saving money. I would not recommend that you overclock anything unless you REALLY need the increased performance.
