Osiris was the ancient egyption God of the underworld. As the story goes Osiris was killed by his evil brother Seth who chopped Osiris into a thousand pieces and spread the remains all over the world. Osiris’s wife Isis was so upset that she traveled the world collecting Osiris’s remains. Finally she pieced Osiris back together. The song Osiris uses this analogy to desribe a lover struggling to mend a relationship and build the strength to carry on.
