What does Oracle9iAS1.0.2.2 provide for J2EE support?

0

Oracle9iAS 1.0.2.2 provides a lightweight, high performance, Java2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) runtime platform, Oracle9iAS Containers for J2EE (OC4J). OC4J runs applications comprised of Java Server Pages, Java Servlets, and Enterprise JavaBeans, and fully implements the J2EE 1.2 specification. OC4J uses the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) supplied with the standard JDK provided by the operating system vendor or other company. OC4J does not make use of the Oracle implementation of the JVM 1.2 specification, OracleJVM. OC4J is extremely resource conscious and requires less than 10MB to download, 15MB of disk space to install, and less than 14MB of RAM when first started.
