What does, or can, a guest wear to a formal wedding?
I worked at weddings for six years at a country club, with a formal setting. I suggest formal attire because in all this time I only saw about five people with attire that was not appropriate (i.e. tie-dye tank-tops, shoes with holes, clothes with holes in general). I suggest feeling comfortable in what you wear, don’t pay too much and still look presentable. I would suggest even plain black, brown, tan, gray, or light colored pants with a nice white blouse to keep it simple, or go extravagant and get a gown and tux. If you’ve got an old dress lying around that fits, wear it and turn a couple heads for fun!
