What does “Ocean-View” stateroom mean?

No, ocean-view stateroom does NOT mean the window in your room looks out under water, into the ocean, so you can see the fish. It does mean that you have a view OF the ocean, and the sky also (when it is light). No passenger cabins are ever under the water line. In fact, the crew sleeps on the deck under the lowest passenger deck, and even the crew’s deck is up above the water line. So, the lowest passenger deck is at least two decks up above the water line. So, once again, a stateroom on the lowest deck is fine. The ship has lots of elevators, and big wide stairs. Taking the stairs will be good for you, with all the food you will be eating!
