What does notice of taking deposition mean?
Notice of Deposition means they are giving you notice that they’re going to take your deposition, they (the lawyers) are going to ask you questions, generally around a conference table in a law firm, pertaining to the case. I used to work in the legal field as a paralegal/legal assistant/legal secretary & I was deposed once (meaning questionedc at a deposition) regarding an accident I was involved in, I wasn’t even supposed to be sued, it was a 3 car accident & I was the 3rd car & the lawsuit was being brought by the 1st car, but after that nerve-wracking (for me) Deposition, I never heard about it again, which means that they dropped at, at least against me….I was represented in the Deposition by an attorney that my car insurance appointed.
