The Acquisitions Division decides whether the books we receive here will be beneficial to the NOPL collection. Most books not needed in the collection are given to the Friends of New Orleans Public Library for its booksale. NOPL also offers books to local schools and directly to children. Books sent to Better World Books — in cartons marked “Rebuild NOPL” — are sold to earn income for our Rebuild Campaign.
