What does no taxation without repersentation mean?
No taxation without representation means that there should nt be taxes if you are not represented. This was the case in the 1700’s when the British taxed the colonies. The colonies complained not because of the actual tax, but because nobody represented them in the British Parliament. They didn’t care if their own government in the colonies raised taxes because they had people thre who represented them, but since there wasn’t one colonist in Parliament, they said No Taxation without Representation.
