What does neocron have in common with other MMORPGs?
Like in other MMORPGs, the player will generate and train an alter ego (Avatar) that will represent him. The player experiences the world of Neocron through the eyes of his virtual Avatar. Other player characters (PCs) and NPCs (Non-Player Characters) will interact with him and recognize him as a citizen of Neocron. The characteristics and properties of the Avatar will change and evolve during the course of the game. I.e. the playercan pick up tasks to gain experience, fight to train his strength, trade, work, train Psi powers and / or gamble to earn money. Anyhow the concept behind Neocron does not allow the RPG elements to become as complex and heavy as they are in some other RPGs. To us, it is very important that the player finds a fast way into the game and doesnt waste time on learning how to play it.
