What does my University of Washington application status mean?
They just mean that they are looking at it, it doesnt mean anytihng really it just means its in the process of review All schools do that its Missing materials->received all materials->waiting for review(after application deadline)->under review->decision You should not expect decisions to come this fast, most schools give out their decisions in March/April and if you are lucky you will get it in February or Early March very few schools actually give out decisions this early on, unless you applied Early Action or Early Admission, which most schools have different deadline for those applications
