What Does Musicale Mean?
Musicale is the Italian word for the English word musical. A musical is a play or film which is characterised by the interspersing of music with the dialogue for instance ‘All music lovers will enjoy the Christmas musical’. In its adjective form the word musical has several different connotations. It may mean devoted to or talented in music for example ‘That family is very musical’. It may also mean resembling or characteristic of music like for instance a ‘musical speaking voice’ or ‘a musical tragedy’.
