What does merging/splitting of journal entries do?

0

By merging two journal entries, you extend the time span of the entry which is chronologically first. The title and description of the merged trip entry are also added to the first entry. The split function analyses the photos in a journal entry and creates a new journal entry at the most appropriate point in time in the original journal entry’s time span. This effectively splits the time span of the original journal entry.
