MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) is an acronym used by manufactures that force dealers to advertise their products at prices determined by each manufacture. Discount codes are often available for any item that falls under a MAP policy. MIRP (Minimum Internet Retail Price) is an acronym used by manufactures that force dealers to sell their items at prices determined by the manufacture. Discount codes are not allowed for any item that falls under a MIRP policy.
