What does “low memory” mean relevant to fishing line?

Answer K Sloan; Memory in a line means the line takes a set or “remembers” being wound on a spool. If line comes off a spool or a reel in curls or twists it is said to have high memory. On the other hand if the line comes off the reel nice and straight even after having been wound on the reel for considerable time it is said to have low memory. Of course the lower the memory the better the line will cast. Most braided lines have very low memory while most monofiliments have higher memory. The better quality lines have lower memory than cheaper lines although all mono lines have some memory. The longer they have been on the spool the more memory they have, even the better ones. These lines have more memory in cold weather than in warm so one should keep reels in a warm place when not in use when the weather is cold. I hope this has answered your question.
