What does local accreditation involve?
• Provide evidence of a valid California Paramedic License • Complete orientation with FTO which includes local optional and expanded scope of practice • Complete ambulance ride-along with FTO • Complete an accreditation application • Pay the $10.00 accreditation fee • Provide letter of affiliation with an approved Paramedic provider agency Accreditation will be granted upon successful completion of the above elements within 30 days from the start date of the ride-along. Candidates failing to do so must reapply.
