What does Lloyds expect of a registered broker?
If you become a registered broker you will be required to maintain and uphold high standards of service and professionalism. In particular, we will expect you to: • Have signed a TOBA with each managing agent you do business with. • Place business into the Lloyd’s market. • Take all reasonable steps to protect and maintain our reputation. • Conduct your business in a professional manner at all times. • Comply with any relevant UK or foreign insurance legislation or regulatory requirements. • Maintain the required level of professional indemnity insurance as per the guide for applicants.
