What does Limited Registration mean?
Limited Registration is a reversible American Kennel Club tool that permits conscientious breeders concerned about preserving the quality of their breed to provide AKC papers to companion (pet) owners while ensuring only top quality animals are eligible for breeding. Limited Registration means that the dog is registered with AKC, but any litters produced by that dog would be ineligible for registration. I sell my companion puppies on a Limited Registration basis because of my commitment to preserving excellence within our breed.
