What does it take to become a Private investigator?

0

Private Investigator encompasses a very wide career field; from Store Detectives to Skip Tracers and Insurance Fraud or Surveillance Investigators. The best way to get a leg up is to take some sort of private investigator training. This can even be done on-line today, just type in “Private Investigator Training or Schools”. From there you start applying for jobs under a licensed PI in your state (most states require you to be licensed) and after you are certified and meet your states requirements for licensing, you can even start your own P.I business. The easiest place to start and get some experience though and actually “earn while you learn” is working in retail as a Store Detective.
